Education is necessary for a strong economy, national and locally.

We need more focus and support from our representatives on the issue of education.

Andrea Doll has worked hard to improve our educational institutions. Doll has worked to improve the way the state funds public schools and increased funding which will add about $6 million for Juneau public schools a year. In 2008, she helped to obtain funds for a major renovation of the Auke Bay and Gastineau elementary schools to improve the learning environment for Juneau's school children.

Doll also helped to acquire funding for the construction of the Lena Point Alaskan Fisheries Building, which will help facilitate research and job growth.

The people of Juneau need someone that will stand up for education so that we can have a strong economy. Let's keep a strong fighter in the state House and re-elect Andrea Doll.
