Jessie Swanson, of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and Noel Preecs, of Juneau, were married on Sept. 27, 2008, at Arrowhead Country Club in Davie, Fla. A reception immediately followed.

The bride is the daughter of Frances and Marie Swanson. A Florida State University graduate, she is a senior electrical engineer for Ticom Geomatics Inc., in Austin, Texas.

The groom is the son of Dr. Gordon and Mrs. Connie Preecs. A graduate of California Polytechnic State University, he also is a senior electrical engineer for Ticom Geomatics Inc.

The bride's sister, Shannon Hall, was the matron of honor, and Jennifer Specht was the bridesmaid.

Derek Yano was the best man, and Mathew Seguin was the groomsman.

The couple will honeymoon in Costa Rica and make their home in Austin.
