ANCHORAGE - The Alaska governor's office said former state Rep. Keith Specking has died at age 90.

ANCHORAGE - The Alaska governor's office said former state Rep. Keith Specking has died at age 90.
Specking, who died Sept. 19, represented the Kenai Peninsula district when he was elected in 1970.
He also worked as a legislative assistant to Gov. Jay Hammond, helping with the establishment of the Alaska Permanent Fund.
Gov. Sean Parnell has directed that state flags be lowered to half-staff today in honor of Specking.
