Erin Cottingham, of Juneau, and Wade Zelazny, of Anchorage, were married Aug. 8, 2009, at Alaska Botanical Gardens in Anchorage. A reception followed at the Alaska Heritage Aviation Museum in Anchorage.
The bride is the daughter of Leslie Houston, of Juneau, and Joe Cottingham, of Fairbanks. A 2005 Juneau-Douglas High School, she is a senior at Eastern Oregon University.
The groom is the son of Kevin and Gloria Zelazny, of Eagle River. An East High School graduate, he is a graduate student at Eastern Oregon University.
The bride's sister, Jordon Cottingham, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Tally Teal, of Juneau, Nichole O'Brien, of Juneau, and Meg Saunders, of Portland, Ore.
The groom's brother, Tony Zelazny, was the best man. Groomsmen were Zac Belz, Shaun McNees and Tyler Levad, all of Anchorage.
The couple will make their home in La Grande, Ore., and Anchorage after graduation from EOU.
