Martha Jean Walvoord, of Holland, Mich., and Jack Andrew Unzicker, of Juneau, will marry at 4 p.m. Nov. 29, 2008, at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Arlington, Texas.

The wedding party will consist of Jennifer Walvoord, Alessandra Jennings Flanagan, John Unzicker III and Tony Parry. A reception and open house will be 4-6 p.m. Dec. 27, 2008, at the Holland Area Arts Council in in Holland, Mich.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Douglas Walvoord, of Holland. A graduate of the University of Michigan, Rice University and Holland High School, she is an assistant professor of violin at the University of Texas at Arlington.

The groom is the son of JoAnne Buckner and Durham Moore, of Ocala, Fla., and Mr. and Mrs. John Unzicker Jr., of Gulf Breeze, Fla. A graduate of the University of North Texas, Western Washington University and Juneau-Douglas High School, he is pursuing a Doctorate of Musical Arts at the University of North Texas.

The couple will make their home in Arlington.
