Western Washington University student Heather Harris, daughter of Richard Harris and Pat Tynan, of Juneau, received a $500 Mount Baker Plywood Furniture Scholarship for the 2009-2010 academic year. The Mount Baker Plywood Furniture Scholarship is awarded to winners of the Mount Baker Products Plywood Furniture Design Competition. Harris earned a grade-point average of 2.87 and is majoring in industrial design.
