HAINES - The mobile mammogram van will visit Haines starting on Aug. 28, with appointments running through the afternoon of Sept. 10 (no weekend appointments). Women wanting to schedule a mammogram should call Pam Sloper of the SEARHC Haines Health Center at 907-766-6367.

Women who have not had a current clinical breast exam within the past six months (since March) will need to arrange to have a breast exam before scheduling a mammogram. If you also are due for your women's health exam, including your Pap smear and heart health screening, please let the Haines Health Center know so sufficient time is scheduled for you to have this done.

Women with no insurance and/or a limited income may be eligible for a free clinical breast exam, mammogram and heart health screening. To find out if you qualify, contact the Haines Health Center.
