Kami Bartness, a derby official who said her unofficial title was "Queen of the Dock," pulls a 22.9-pound king salmon off the scale hook Sunday at the weigh-in station in Auke Bay during the final hour of the Golden North Salmon Derby. Sheldon Winters, who caught a 35.6-pound king salmon Friday, held on to win the derby. For the full story, see page A12.
