JUNEAU - Alaska Workplace Solutions is inviting businesses to participate in a worksite wellness research project. The organization is offering a free workplace wellness assessment, wellness solution options and technical support through project staff consultation.
Project staff will be available in Juneau on Thursday and Friday.
The project uses evidence-based recommendations to help businesses implement best practices in chronic disease prevention by focusing on healthy eating, physical activity, tobacco use and preventive health care.
Alaska Workplace Solutions is a partnership of the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium, the University of Washington and Alaska businesses to improve the health of Alaska Native people.
