Mindy Jo Moffet and Brandon Lee Shaw, both of Juneau, will marry at 4:15 p.m. Aug. 2, 2008, at Orca Point Lodge in Juneau. A reception will immediately follow.

The bride is the daughter of Claudia Cook, LJ and Angela Moffet, and Fred Cook. A Juneau-Douglas High School and Central Washington University graduate, she is a dental student at the University of Colorado.

The groom is the son of Lee and Arleen Shaw, and Marilyn and Dave Ruzek. A graduate of Stewartville High School in Stewartville, Minn., he is a branch manager for NC Machinery in Dutch Harbor.

The maid of honor will be the bride's sister, MaryAnn Moffet. Bridesmaids will be the bride's cousin, Jalene Truesdell, Jessica Arasmith, and the bride's sisters, Macy and Madison Cook.

The best man will be Erik Westlund. Groomsmen will be the groom's brother, Chris Shaw, Jason Love and the bride's cousin, Jeremy Moffet.

The couple will make their home in Juneau, after the bride's completion of dental school.
