Minors division moves from Wrangell to Juneau

Alaska District 2 Little League Majors Division tournament, for 11- to 12-year-olds, will be held Tuesday to July 23, starting with round-robin games.

There will be semi-final games at 3 and 6 p.m. July 22 and a championship game at 6 p.m. July 23. All Majors games will be at Miller 1 Field behind Glacier Valley Elementary School.

The Minors Division tournament, for 9- to 10-year-olds, was originally scheduled for Wrangell but was canceled at the last minute. Instead, Haines and Sitka will send a minors team to Juneau next weekend, July 18-20, and they will play on Miller Field 2.
