Courts
Court records show the following legal actions among those taken recently in Juneau Superior and District courts.
Judgments:
Edward Boone, 40, was found guilty of driving while intoxicated, stemming from a Nov. 8, 2007, incident in which his blood-alcohol content was measured at .109 percent. Magistrate John W. Sivertsen Jr. imposed 46 days in jail with 40 days suspended, fined Boone $3,000 with $1,500 suspended, revoked his license for 90 days and put him on probation for two years.
Charles Arca, 36, was found guilty of driving while intoxicated, stemming from a Feb. 21, 2008, incident in which his blood-alcohol content was measured at .195 percent. Sivertsen imposed 60 days in jail with 54 days suspended, fined Arca $3,000 with $1,500 suspended, revoked his license for 90 days and put him on probation for 18 months.
Rosenda George, 22, was found guilty of driving while intoxicated, stemming from a Feb. 28, 2008, incident in which no blood-alcohol content was available. Sivertsen imposed 43 days in jail with 40 days suspended, fined George $3,000 with $1,500 suspended, revoked her license for 90 days and put her on probation for 18 months.
Toni Fratzke, 59, was found guilty of driving while intoxicated, stemming from a Feb. 29, 2008, incident in which Fratzke's blood-alcohol content was measured at .126 percent. District Court Judge Keith B. Levy imposed 43 days in jail with 40 days suspended, fined Fratzke $3,000 with $1,500 suspended, revoked Fratzke's license for 90 days and put Fratzke on probation for one year.
Robert Bentz, 57, was found guilty of driving while intoxicated, stemming from an April 27, 2008, incident in which his blood-alcohol content was measured at .184 percent. Sivertsen imposed 46 days in jail with 40 days suspended, fined Bentz $3,000 with $1,500 suspended, revoked his license for 90 days and put him on probation for 18 months.
Kenji F. Castillo-Garcia, 18, was found guilty of driving under the influence, stemming from an incident in which his blood-alcohol content was measured at .129 percent. Levy imposed 33 days in jail with 30 days suspended, fined Castillo-Garcia $1,500 with none suspended, revoked his license for 90 days and put him on probation for one year.
