Quake strikes Bering Strait region
ANCHORAGE - Monitors reported a light earthquake Saturday in Alaska's Bering Strait region.
The Alaska Earthquake Information Center said the magnitude 4.1 quake struck at 3:15 a.m. Saturday about 87 miles southwest of Nome.
There are no immediate reports that the earthquake was felt or caused any damage.
