Callender, Blankenship to wed

Cecilia Blankenship, formerly of Juneau, and John Callender, of Columbia, Miss., will marry on May 24, 2008, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Federal Way, Wash. A reception will follow at Copperfalls Restaurant in Auburn, Wash.

The bride is the daughter of Bernadette Blankenship. A graduate of Juneau-Douglas High School, she is an operations agent for Alaska Airlines in Seattle.

The groom is the son of William and Diane Callender. A graduate of the University of Mississippi, he is a 737 captain for Alaska Airlines

The matron of honor will be Jessica Blankenship. Bridesmaids will be Laura Blankenship, Mary Lihou and Mindy Voigt. Junior bridesmaids will be Allison Lihou and Olivia Lihou. Cassie Lihou will be the flower girl.

The best man will be Stanley Collins. Groomsmen will be Terry Wafful, Randy Nelsen, Kevin Jarnigan and Chuck Hillman. Ushers will be Shawn Duval, Bryan Callender and Lee Callender. Andrew Blankenship will be the ringbearer.

The couple will honeymoon in Hawaii and make their home in Federal Way.
