Crimson Bears' boys soccer team allows just one goal in two wins over host Ketchikan

The Juneau-Douglas High School junior varsity boys soccer team toppled host Ketchikan High School twice over the weekend.

The Crimson Bears defeated the Kings 5-0 on Friday and 6-1 on Saturday.

In Saturday's game, Victor Wilson scored twice in the first half while Joe Slagle, Joe Croteau, Ben Weyhrauch and Gus Browning added goals in the win.

Croteau, Slagle, Aaron Badilla, Daniel Stoops and Jonathan Schirmer contributed assists in Juneau's well-rounded attack.

On Friday, Badilla scored Juneau's first two goals in the shutout victory.

Croteau, Wilson and Chris Hoffman provided Juneau's other goals in the win.

Daniel Stoops, Slagle, Weyhrauch and Croteau chipped in assists against Ketchikan.

Juneau-Douglas will take on East Anchorage High School on April 27-28 at Adair-Kennedy Memorial Park.
