Juneau hosts Yukon boys soccer squads
The Whitehorse Exchange tourney started in 1989 as an sister-city activity between Juneau and Whitehorse, Yukon Territory. JSC took over the tournament six years later.
While the boys were playing in Juneau from Friday through Sunday, several Juneau girls teams traveled north to play in Whitehorse. The situation will flip-flop next year.

Sunday's game was played under patches of sun and periods of sleet, and neither team scored in the first half - though each squad had a shot hit the post and bounce away.
A few minutes into the second half, Juneau's Kabil Seesan put the Orcas up 1-0 on a second-chance goal. Seesan followed the ball after the Falcons goalkeeper knocked his first shot away and to the left, and took advantage of his second opportunity.
The Yukon squad - playing without subs in the second half - salvaged a tie when Donny Richardson found the net out of a scramble in the game's closing minutes.
The results from other divisions were:
U13 boys: 1. Juneau United Black; 2. Grizzlies A (Whitehorse); 3. Grizzlies B (Whitehorse); 4. Juneau United Red.
U14 boys: 1. Badgers 2 (Whitehorse); 2. Manchester United (Juneau); 3. Badgers 1 (Whitehorse); 4. Inter Milan (Juneau).
U15 boys: 1. Whitehorse Wildthings; 2. Riptide Red (Juneau); 3. Riptide White (Juneau).
In the U13 division, Juneau United Black and the Grizzlies A squad were tied at 3-all at the end of regulation of Sunday's championship game.
The teams remained tied through two sudden-death overtimes before Juneau won in a shootout.
