Juneau libraries to get folky

The Juneau Public Library will host a couple of musical events in conjunction with the 34th annual Alaska Folk Festival.

Judy Domery is scheduled to perform a variety of storytelling songs from the ballads of the Ozarks at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 4 at the Mendenhall Valley library. Domery plays acoustic guitar, banjo and mountain dulcimer.

On Wednesday, April 9, folksinger, storyteller and autoharp virtuoso Adam Miller is scheduled to perform folksongs and stories from 11 a.m. to noon at the downtown library and from 3 to 4 p.m. at the Mendenhall Valley library.
