Man stabbed in downtown Anchorage
ANCHORAGE - Anchorage police say a man was stabbed in the stomach near the corner of Sixth Avenue and Gambell Street.
The man was taken early Saturday night to Alaska Regional Hospital.
Police just after 7 p.m. cordoned off a parking lot at the Milepost "0" Apartments and searched the area with a dog team.
An investigator questioned "a person of interest" but no one had been arrested.
Police have not released the name of the victim.
