Tranquilize, move Democrats
Letters to the editor
A letter
by JOHN BISHOP
Perhaps the Mayor's Ad-hoc Bear Committee can get the Department of Fish and Game to tranquilize the amazing Kim Metcalfe-Helmar and her fellow downtown Democrats and relocate them to a different environment. I suggest moving them to ANWR. That might go a long way to resolving the garbage bear problem. It could help the geographically challenged Beth Kerttula find her constituents. And it would very likely solve a host of tourist and flight-seeing issues.
And, as a bonus, relocation of the downtown Democrats might help settle any further Capitol move issues. Because if Juneau could rid itself of its trademark festering pit of socialist hypocrisy, then the rest of us throughout Alaska (who actually have to work to produce real goods and services) might think Juneau is not such a bad place after all.
