Locally written one-act plays premiere March 7

Juneau-Douglas Little Theatre will host the opening of its production of "An Evening of One Acts," featuring two locally written one-act plays Friday, March 7. The plays will be staged in the new Juneau Arts & Culture Center.

The theater sponsored a play-writing competition that produced "Relationship Insurance," written by Geoff Kirsch, and "Coming Back," by Erik Boraas.

Shows will be held Friday through Sundays from March 7 to 22. Friday and Saturday shows begin at 8 p.m. Sunday matinees start at 2 p.m.

Tickets are $15 for general admission and $12 for students and seniors. Tickets are available at Rainy Day Books downtown and Hearthside Books in the Mendenhall Valley.
