Linda Sue Block, of Anchorage, and Bill Kimlinger, of Juneau, were married Jan. 1, 2009, in Golden, Colo. They are planning a wedding party for May 2 in Anchorage.

The bride is the daughter of Donald Ralph Allen and the late LaVerne Elaine Allen. She is a dental assistant at William C. Schlansker dental office in Anchorage.

The groom is the son of Ralph and Rosemary Kimlinger, of Juneau. He is a HVAC technician for Control Contractors in Juneau.

The maid of honor was the bride's sister, Sandra Lee Ball, and the best man was the bride's cousin, Kent Ross Taylor.
