Finding the Grunion: In this Aug. 24, 2007, photo, Barbara Larish, 74, holds a picture of her first cousin by marriage, Seaman 2nd Class Byron Allen Traviss, in Dearborn, Mich. Traviss was one of 70 crew members who died aboard the World War II submarine USS Grunion when it sunk off the Aleutian Island of Kiska in 1942.
