LOCAL JUNEAU EMPIRE Construction crews will begin shifting some traffic onto new asphalt today on the Sunny Point interchange project on Egan Drive, state transportation officials said.

 Changing lanes: Rush hour traffic heads north on Egan Drive on Thursday. South-bound traffic will be switched to the new overpass after this morning's rush hour.
