ENTERTAINMENT Capital City Weekly Patrice Helmar was born among photographs and photographers. Her late father, Paul, was the owner of Juneau Photo Works and Helmar grew up in its darkroom. Her mother, Kim Metcalfe, studied photography in Seattle and has also been a source of creative inspiration to her daughter.

First Friday exhibits include Patrice Helmar's photography
