The first 100 contestants catching the largest salmon will have their choice of any one of the prizes except that 1st prize goes to the largest fish, the 58th prize goes to the 58th top weight, and prize number 100 is reserved for the person catching the 100th top weight. After the award of the 1st, 58th, and 100th place prizes, then 2nd place gets his or her choice of remaining prizes, then 3rd, 4th, etc. until all prizes are claimed. Only one of the top 100 prizes will be awarded to each contestant. In case of a tie, the earliest entered weighed fish will receive the highest standing. If winners or their designated representative are not present on Awards Night to claim prizes, unclaimed prizes shall beawarded in numerical order, according to winner's place.

The names of all prize winners will be made public as soon as possible after the list has been certified. Check here online, or in the Juneau Empire to see if you won a prize.

Be sure to turn in all salmon, except pink and chum, for the scholarship fund. Don't take the chance of eating a fish that could be worth up to $100,000!

Derby prizes will be awarded beginning at 7:00pm on the Thursday following the Derby at Centennial Hall. Prize winners or designated representatives must attend Awards Night in order to claim their prize!
The official list of winners of the top 100 prizes will be posted on the Golden North Salmon Derby website on the Wednesday following the Derby, and at the First National Bank of Anchorage on Front Street and at the Fred Meyer store bulletin board. The list will also be published in the Juneau Empire on the Thursday after the Derby. Winners of Scholarship Fund prizes must claim their prize from the Territorial Sportsmen, Inc. on Awards Night unless otherwise instructed.
