11th year poster

"I'm particularly fond of the Eskimo mask poster. It was really whimsical, and the mask was a fiddle and had a face inside of it. And that was about the time I was trying to have something in the poster that people could discover after looking at it for a while."

"There was a point in my poster career where people were hesitant to have me make the posters, because they knew people would take them before the event happened. It was funny for all of us. You would go into a drugstore and someone would have written their name on the back of the poster as if to say, 'This is my poster.' It was a big kick to have that happen."
