Nine bands will play, and each set will last roughly 20 minutes. Martha Stey will emcee.

The admission price is $10 and includes a roundtrip ride on the tram. There are no discounts for passholders.

Food is not included, but the dining room will be open.

The concert will be held in the Chilkat Theatre with sound in the Timberline Bar & Grill. Two speakers will be placed in the restaurant.

Stitt to play Sept. 8 at Northern Light United Church

JUNEAU - Juneau-born songwriter Rory Stitt will play his latest concert at 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, at Northern Light United Church, 400 W. 11th St.

Shawn Mullins to play Marlintini's Lounge

JUNEAU - Georgia adult-alternative-folk songwriter Shawn Mullins will play at 9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, at Marlintini's Lounge in the Mendenhall Valley,

Mullins has released 11 albums since 1991 and is most known for 1998's "Soul's Core" which went platinum on the strength of the Adult Top 40 hit "Lullaby."

Tickets are $20 the day of the show or $15 in advance at Marlintini's and Capital Records.

Concertgoers under 21 will be allowed with a legal parent or guardian. The show is smoke-free.
