The Oracle of Starbucks

If you're at all defensive about your daily coffee order (yes, venti-extra-hot-no-foam-sugar-free-hazelnut-soy-latte, we're talking to you), you'll want to skip the Oracle of Starbucks. Most likely, it will just make you feel bad. The site (http://www.buttafly.com/starbucks/index.php) invites you to enter your regular Starbucks order, and then tells you what your drink reveals about your personality. Prepare to be offended - most of the revelations are pretty harsh. (Tall skim latte means you're "fat," a grande coffee suggests you're "lame.") If you're looking for a reinforcement of your choice, skip the site; but for a laugh, it's worth a visit.

Tabloid Fodder

Tabloid junkies will revel in this offering, which culls the latest tabloid headlines and news from numerous sites from around the globe. Recent items include "Grandfather dies after 'exorcism' on girl, police scuffle," "Web Site Archives the Dead of MySpace," and "Baby Sitter Charged With Pimping Girl." www.tabloidcolumn.com

PopMatters.com
