Tlingit Dancers, Missed by a Long Shot, Daughters play Friday

JUNEAU - Juneau Tlingit Dancers, Missed by a Long Shot and Daughters of the New Moon will play at this Friday's free 7 p.m. Concert in the Park at Marine Park.

Daughters of the New Moon and the Um-Pa Band will perform at Saturday's free 7 p.m. Concert on Campus at the University of Alaska Southeast's Noyes Pavilion.

Del Tha Funkee Homosapien tickets still available

JUNEAU - Tickets are still on sale at Marlintini's Lounge and Capital Records for the Del Tha Funkee Homosapien show at 9 p.m. Thursday, July 12.

Bukue One, DJ Zac Hendrix, AstronoMAR and Phonetic also will perform.

Admission is $25 at the door and $20 in advance. The show is expected to sell out.

Clumsy Lovers, The Gourds to headline at SE Alaska State Fair

HAINES - The Clumsy Lovers, Celtic jam band from Vancouver, and The Gourds, an alternative country band from Austin, are headlining this year's Southeast Alaska State Fair, July 26-29 in Haines.

Thursday evening - 9 p.m., Deering and Down; 10 p.m., Missed by a Long Shot.
