Zip, drag and drop

Mac OS X only: Freeware app YemuZip is a graphical interface for creating zip files on the fly.

Create zip files using a drag and drop with YemuZip. Before creating the zip archive, YemuZip forces you to choose whether to create the file in "PC compatible" or "Mac specific" modes. (The Mac format will maintain the integrity of your metadata.) But don't worry, the files created using PC compatibility mode are totally compatible with your Mac, too. If YemuZip isn't for you, you can always create zip folders using a single keystroke. Yemuzip is a free download for Mac only at http://www.yellowmug.com/yemuzip/.

Get to know www.zachbraff.com

When it comes to celebrity bloggers, you never know who's really behind the blog. On Zach Braff's site (www.zachbraff.com), you know it's him.

Aside from the rare video blog where he chats up his fans, he spouts on random topics and is personably disparaging. Of course - being the good actor that he is - he also promotes his latest projects. But not in a bad way.

On his recent movie, "The Ex":

"So yes, I don't know why they made me so tan on the poster for 'The Ex.' When I first saw it I thought it might be the South American poster, since we all looked a smidgen Latin. Or ... as Latin as I'm ever gonna look."
