The final team of 10 will be selected March 27. One of those players then will be selected as recipient of the Wooden Award Trophy as the nation's outstanding collegiate basketball player.
Boozer is a sophomore at Duke University. He's just the second Alaskan to compete for the honor, joining former Blue Devil Trajan Langdon.
Two other Duke players, Shane Battier and Jason Williams, also are Wooden Award finalists.
Among the other players listed were North Carolina's Brendan Haywood, Notre Dame's Troy Murphy and Arizona's Loren Woods.
